Buttercup restaurant natick ma11/24/2023 ![]() We'll find out because we're going back a 3rd time tonight. I don't like exceptionally loud restaurants because I like to talk to friends over dinner. But the noise inside has to be dealt with somehow. ![]() Let me reiterate that the food was delicious and the wine list fine. The second time we ate there was maybe a month later and we sat outside. Clearly due to the infancy of the restaurant, the fire alarm went off twice bringing the Natick Fire Department over, luckily a very short drive for them (2 blocks). I'm giving them 4 our of 5 stars not because the food wasn't terrific, because it absolutely was, but because it was extremely loud inside. The place was packed just like their sister restaurant in the neighboring town of Needham. The first time was on a Saturday evening about 3-4 days after they opened. I am anxious to see what the fall menu has to offer.īuttercup is in the center of Natick, MA, a location that has needed more top restaurants. The pasta dish I had wasn't much different from the Rigatoni Bolognese my friend had. My criticism: There does not seem to be much of a selection on the dinner menu. The Beef short ribs, homemade Pappardelle was delicious. Quality of wine was also good, especially for the "per glass" options. The Chilled citrus-avocado soup, fleur de sel was so fresh and superb and great for a summer offering. In my opinion: The good: Quality of food and freshness. They must be aware of the acoustical problems, as one of the first things he said was that they would be installing sound absorption panels soon. The 140 seat Beer Hall sits in the heart of the. The full-service taproom is open all-day. The waiter was pleasant, super nice, and professional. Night Shift Natick joins Level99, a challenge-based entertainment concept, located on the second floor of the Natick Mall, to bring the Best of Boston Detroit-style pizza, amazing craft beer and curated list of cocktails, wines, seltzers and spirits. I am glad to see better restaurants coming to Natick/ metrowest - where you don't have to travel into Boston as much. The decor is much like a French restaurant and very nice.
